Welcome New Lynmore Estates Homeowners, Yates & Porter
The Yates and Porter families' homes were dedicated on January 26, 2017. Ivey Hall, MAHFH Executive Director opened the event by thanking all who attended including its donors, campaign volunteers and supporters. Ivey Hall assisted MAHFH Board President, Dr. Linda Brennan in the presentation of the Bible and keys to the Porter, Yates and Spradley families. At the dedication, Christy Kovac launched MAHFH's 2017 Major Gifts Campaign announcing its $1,500,000 goal ($375,000 or 25% raised during lead up silent phase) to build 50 more homes and clear 90 additional blighted properties in the Lynmore Estates by 2021. Guests totaling 70 enjoyed a nice meal provided by the Gray Hwy. Walmart Deli.
The Yates and Porter families enjoyed gifts of tool boxes from Anne Bramlett, vacuum cleaners from Northminister Presbyterian Church, gift certificates from MAHFH ReStore, first aid kits from Wade Scott Scott's Health Mart Pharmacy, laundry basket of cleaning supplies/paper products from Walmart Macon - Gray Hwy, and gift basket of cleaning supplies/paper products Proctor & Gamble.
