Lynmore Estates Fall Quarterly Neighborhood Clean-up

On Saturday, October 15, 2016, Lynmore Estates held its quarterly neighborhood clean-Up. Dumpsters and other cleaning supplies were made available to 23 neighborhood residents and participating volunteers to rid the 10 streets of the neighborhood of trash and debris. MAHFH staff and Countryside Church were also on hand to assist residents with transporting items into the large dumpsters that were made available by Macon-Bibb County's Solid Waste Department. By the end of the day, a total of 14 bags were filled and 1.11 ton of waste was collected.

Funding for the program was provided by Community Development Block Grant Program.

Now with over 30 Habitat homes in Lynmore Estates, Macon Area Habitat for Humanity has rebuilt the neighborhood through neighborhood revitalization and fighting blight. As these projects are continued, new organizations and programs are forming in Lynmore Estates.
