Kid’s Count in Lynmore Estates

Twenty-two resident youth counted street features in their 10-street neighborhood during their fall school break on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015. The group surveyed street lighting, sewer drainages, signage, occupied structures, etc. The data collected will be add to the current assessment of blight in the neighborhood. Items requiring service or repair will be reported through the SeeClickFix app to Macon-Bibb County.

Now with over 30 Habitat homes in Lynmore Estates, Macon Area Habitat for Humanity has rebuilt the neighborhood through neighborhood revitalization and fighting blight. As these projects are continued, new organizations and programs are forming in Lynmore Estates.
