Mercer Basketball Team Shows Lynmore Boys the Hoops
Saturday morning, with the sunlight shining down on them making the perfect day to shoot some hoops, members of Mercer University's male basketball team came to Lynmore Estates to help show some of the neighborhood youth their on the court moves. Known as a popular sport among neighborhood kids, basketball is a key activity in Lynmore Estates. Every week you can drive by the neighborhood's basketball court on San Carlos drive near the northern entrance and watch as youth go head to head in basketball games. This week, the boys who were invited to meet the Mercer basketball team will have a few new moves to bring to the court as they were shown different ways to make long-distance shots and even slam dunk. To finish off the great event, the boys and the team enjoyed pizza making for a great way to start their Saturday.
