Saturday, February 8, from 11 am-5 pm,

Macon Area Habitat for Humanity, The Peach Orchard Rescue Group, and Lynmore Estates neighborhood youth will be going door-to-door counting the number of dogs in the neighborhood and listing any needs of pet owners in caring for their dogs. Since 1986, Macon Area Habitat for Humanity has built new homes in Macon, Georgia. Now with over 30 Habitat homes in Lynmore Estates, Macon Area Habitat for Humanity has rebuilt the neighborhood through neighborhood revitalization and fighting blight. As these projects are continued, new organizations and programs are forming in Lynmore Estates.
