Two Lynmore Estates Youth Work to Fight Hunger with Local Food Drive
Today, two residents of Lynmore Estates met up at the local Habitat for Humanity's Restore location with a large box and about $40 worth of food. As the hours went from 10:30am to about 2:30pm, the girls faced a hard time with few people willing to donate to the cause. They hope to resolve this issue before the next food drive which will be held at the end of October with hopefully more publicity and awareness being brought to the issue of hunger and how to end it in Macon, G

End of School Ice Cream Celebration Photos
I was a hot summer day with the sun shining down on Lynmore Estates. With students now out of school for summer break, there has been a real need to cool down with this summer heat and reflect on this past school year. What better way to do it than to have an end of school ice cream celebration? With the help of Macon Area Habitat for Humanity, Lynmore Estates youth were able to come to Southside Baptist Church's community center this past Saturday and enjoy a nice cold treat

Build-A-Shed Event
This past Saturday, November 9, 2013, Lynmore Estates youth received tool boxes and storage shed construction instruction from Care-A-Vanners. The event provided an outlet for Lynmore Estates youth's creativity and a new construction skill that they may find useful within their lives.
