In Lynmore Estates on October 23, 2014, pet owner residents received assistance from the Macon Area Habitat for Humanity to help their furry friends. This past July, a new law was passed ordering for all pets in the Macon Bibb area to be spayed or neutered. In order to help Lynmore Estates residents remain legal pet owners, Macon Area Habitat for Humanity decided to fit the bill for many of their pets to be spayed and neutered with the help of S.A.F.E. Cats, FVSU Wildcats That is, Prowl for Dogs in Lynmore Estates
Students from Ft. Valley State University’s (FVSU) Veterinary Technology Program teamed with resident youth of Lynmore Estates to update the canine census originally conducted in February of this year. Two Lynmore Estates Youth Work to Fight Hunger with Local Food Drive
Today, two residents of Lynmore Estates met up at the local Habitat for Humanity's Restore location with a large box and about $40 worth of food. As the hours went from 10:30am to about 2:30pm, the girls faced a hard time with few people willing to donate to the cause.
