LYNMORE ESTATES
NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION
Macon Area Habitat for Humanity is partnering with residents of the Lynmore Estates neighborhood to revitalize their neighborhood. Now with almost 50 Habitat homes in Lynmore Estates, Macon Area Habitat for Humanity has rebuilt the neighborhood through neighborhood revitalization and fighting blight.
Today, the neighborhood has grown to become a diverse neighborhood connected by solid roads, and green space including the Lynmore Estates Active-Park, playground, fruit orchard, vegetable garden, and meditation garden. Multiple programs are provided by two of the churches in the neighborhood including tutoring, Bible study, and feeding the youth of the community. As these projects continue, new organizations and programs are forming in Lynmore Estates.
Part of the Neighborhood Plan is to develop a neighborhood association to initialize activities outside of the scope of work conducted through the neighborhood watch association. Lynmore Estates is a neighborhood improving from yesterday for a better today.
