Of course, not all things have been altered from their origins.
Today, with the assistance of a neighborhood watch and consistent presence of police to prevent crime, Lynmore Estates is a safe place to call home. Children may play on the playgrounds, ride their bikes up and down the streets, go trick-or-treating, play basketball on the court, or maybe even run around the sprinklers during the summertime.
Lynmore Estates is a neighborhood improving from yesterday for a better today.
Over the years, Lynmore Estates of South Macon, GA has changed to become the better neighborhood it is today. From its humble beginnings as a small community of a few houses and businesses connected by dirt roads prior to its boom following World War II as veterans moved in, the neighborhood has evolved.
Today, the neighborhood has grown to become a diverse neighborhood connected by solid roads and constantly adding more homes to the now ten streets which are Lynmore Estates.
As a community, the neighborhood now includes two playgrounds and multiple programs provided by two of the churches in the neighborhood ranging from tutoring to Bible study to even feeding the youth of the community.
